A word from our Business Development Director, Emma Graham…
“Since taking up my new post at Hodge back in August, one thing has become increasingly clear: growth is essential if we want to keep up with the demands of our five-year plan for the Mortgages business.
I’m pleased to say that growth comes from strengthening an already well-established sales team to make sure we can manage our relationships with the national mortgage networks and clubs as efficiently and proactively as possible.
We’ve promoted Wes Regis from field-based business development manager to national account manager for the North. This move will see him building strong relationships with key accounts across the North of England, allowing us to work together more strategically to help them navigate both the later life and specialist mortgage landscape. Brokers in the North can also expect even more support as we’re currently recruiting for a face-to-face BDM, and back-filling Wes’ existing role to ensure consistency for the key accounts across this region.
Internally, our sales desk manager, Lee Weston, has been promoted to head of business development. This key role bridges the gap between our telephone and field-based BDMs, making sure we’re aligned in providing the highest levels of service to our intermediary partners across the UK.
Finally, I’m sad to say, James Young is leaving Hodge after 15 years of service as he moves on to undertake a national account position at Aldermore. James has made a significant contribution to the business and we wish him all the very best for his new venture.
We’re already hard at work trying to find a replacement for James to make sure we’re maintaining and developing our relationships across the South of the UK.
As ever, we’re on the end of the phone if you need anything at all.”
